# Cancel the subscription and drop to the free tier

> Downgrades the merchant to the free tier. Side effects, in order: sync-back to Shopify is switched off for the listed collections (at most 3; more is a 400 before anything changes), then the Shopify app subscription is cancelled with proration. Answers null.
