# Delete a collection version

> Deletes the version: retires it from any market it is live on (a failure there is logged, not fatal), removes it from the Shopify versions metafields, and if it was main clears the main pointer and the live brand-feature metafields; then deletes the row and triggers the order sync-back. Irreversible. An unknown version still answers 200. Returns null.
