Surfaces

Surfaces are the places recommendations appear, each with its own strategy:
  • Cross-sell and Related — on product pages
  • Recently viewed
  • Landing page
  • After basket and Checkout
  • For you — personalized
  • Plus any custom surfaces configured for your store

Rules

Each rule on a surface has three parts:
  • When showing these products — the trigger products or collections.
  • Show these products — products pinned into the recommendations.
  • Hide these products — products excluded from the recommendations.
Rule editing in this page is currently limited — to add or change recommendation rules, contact support. Storefront integration of recommendation surfaces is covered in the React, JavaScript and API guides.
