If you run multiple Shopify stores (for example one per region), multi-store keeps their merchandising in sync.

Connecting stores

Every store gets a multi-store activation code (format ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP) when the app is installed. Enter another store’s code to connect them into a multi-store group. Stores can be disconnected from the group at any time.

Collection mappings

Collections across stores are linked under shared group collections:
  • Depict can auto-create mappings by matching collections with the same Shopify handle across stores.
  • You can also connect or disconnect mappings manually.
  • Per collection, the app shows which sibling-store collections are linked and will receive replicated changes.

What replicates

When you edit a mapped collection’s main version in one store, the changes replicate to the linked collections in the other stores:
  • Pinned products — matched across stores by SKU
  • Sort order
  • Boost & bury rules — collection rules are remapped to the sibling store’s equivalent collections
  • The unpin-out-of-stock setting
  • Collection activation and deactivation
Replication relies on consistent SKUs and collection handles across your stores. If products or collections can’t be matched, those parts of the configuration are skipped for that store.
